Leather industry trainers also sought for Pakistan project

A second possibility in as many days has opened up for leather industry training services in Asia.

Following UNIDO’s request for proposals to deliver training in the Kanpur and Unnao tanning clusters in Uttar Pradesh in India, a similar request for expressions of interest has now come from the Pakistan Leather Competitiveness Improvement Programme (PLCIP).

Funded by the European Commission, the PLCIP is seeking expressions of interest from providers of business development services and education and training in the leather sector.

Specifically, the PLCIP is looking for “master trainers” to help develop training modules, on-site training and provision of the necessary tools and equipment.
