Saddleback Leather short film to premiere in US

Leathergoods company Saddleback has created a short film for the in The New York Times Op-Docs section, telling the story of a lady with Alzheimer’s and her husband’s devotion.

Produced in collaboration with filmmaker Joe Callander, it will be the company’s fifth film, following two films for the Sundance Film Festival, and two with the New York Times.

“I try do whatever I can to make my employees as successful as possible,” said Saddleback owner Dave Munson. “When I created this residency position for Joe back in 2013, a lot of people thought I was crazy. I don’t think too many people are thinking that these days.”
