The latest edition of Leatherbiz Weekly suggests that there could be hope on the horizon for long-suffering garment leather tanners.

In the exclusive Leather Pipeline market intelligence section, which is available to read in full on the Market Info section of the leatherbiz website, the report points out that the most recent Milan Fashion Week in the last week of February featured “quite a number of super soft and beautiful leather outfits”.

What high-end designers present at exclusive fashion shows does not always translate into affordable and accessible products for the buying public in department stores and large fashion chains, the report says, but Milan could serve as an inspiration to them and the required raw materials are available at low prices.
