New apprenticeship opportunities at Jaguar Land Rover

09/10/2015
UK-based automotive group Jaguar Land Rover has launched a recruitment drive for more than 200 new apprentices to join the company. It aims to start its new apprenticeship programme in September 2016.

Applicants will be able to choose from either the four-year advanced apprenticeship aimed at young people leaving high school at around the age of 16, or a six-year programme leading to a fully sponsored degree in applied engineering from the University of Warwick.

In September 2015, Jaguar Land Rover had an intake of 245 apprentices and in the past five years 900 apprentices have begun careers with the company. This year’s recruits were the first to start their training as part of the newly launched Jaguar Land Rover Academy, set up to offer training for employees at all stages of their working lives, whether they are new recruits or more experienced employees seeking to move to the next level in the organisation.
