Buckman signs up to sponsor IULTCS Congress

US-based leather chemicals firm Buckman has signed up as a sponsor of the XXXIII IULTCS Congress, which the International Union of Leather Technologists and Chemists Societies will host in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil, from November 24-27 this year.

Luis Stertz, the company’s leather division manager in Brazil, said on making the announcement: “Leather is a key market for Buckman, and the company is very happy to help share knowledge and support efforts that promote leather as a valuable and sustainable material.”

Organisers expect more than 1,000 technicians, industry representatives, researchers and students to travel to the southern Brazilian city’s Feevale University for the congress.
