Luxury leathergoods brand Hermès has started production at its new factory in Montbron, in Charente in south-west France. The new facility is close to an existing Hermès factory in Nontron.
At launch, the Montbron plant employed 175 people, but the luxury leathergoods brand has said it plans to increase this to nearly 300 in future.
