Moroccan leather seat supplier gets nod from Johnson

A leather seat cover supplier owned by Canada’s Exco Automotive Solutions Group has been honoured by Johnson Controls with a gold European supplier award.

Polydesign Systems, based in Morocco, offers a cut and sew facility and was among 14 suppliers to the interiors business that were recognised for outstanding achievement at the Classic Remise in Dusseldorf.

"We are proud to recognise the interiors supply base," said James Bos, vice-president of purchasing at Johnson Controls Automotive Interiors. "Our suppliers play a vital role in our success."

The awards are based on quality, cost, logistics, development, technology and service.
