Huasi to invest in Hebei

It has been reported that Chinese Huasi Agricultural is to invest 400 million yuan ($65 million) into a leather production project in Hebei.

The region has been most affected by the government’s clampdown on polluting industries – closing an undisclosed number of tanneries since the start of the year.

The role Huasi – a fur specialist – will take in the region is unclear.
