Reports from Nigeria say four tannery workers died after trying to clear debris that blocked the company’s water treatment plant.

Witnesses said three of the victims lost their lives while trying to rescue the first, while a fifth person is unconscious.

The personnel manager of Tan Nigeria, Musa Ali Mai-Doki, told local press that the firm would compensate the families of the deceased.
