Turkish visit to Morocco bears fruit

Fouâd Zine Filali, the Chamber of Commerce’s president, told the Turkish delegation that Fès-Boulemane’s economy was based on agriculture, but that it was also an important centre for industry in Morocco, with tanning and leathergoods among the strongest sectors. He said the skill of the workers there was one of the factors that make Fès-Boulemane “a beacon region”.
Moroccan media have reported that the result of the visit would be a formal agreement for business co-operation between Konya and Fès-Boulemane, with a signing ceremony scheduled to take place in Turkey in December.
