The Society of Leather Technologists and Chemists (South African Section) has made a call for papers for its 57th Annual convention that will be held in South Africa on June 8-10, 2007.

SLTC is encouraging anyone interested in making a presentation relevant to the hide, skin and leather industry or those involved with the industry to submit papers, including those recently completed or research studies that will be completed shortly. The proposed papers can be of a practical, scientific or socio-economic nature dealing with all issues affecting the hide, skin and leather industry.

All submissions will be considered and final acceptances advised to the parties concerned as soon as possible after receipt. Manuscripts based on the presentation are expected by 1st April 2007.

Computer presentations should be limited to Microsoft MS i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access. Time allowed per paper must be limited to 25 minutes.
