ADC president awarded Legion of Honour
Clémentine Colin Richard, president of ADC and a leader at Paraboot, has been awarded the Legion of Honour, France’s highest national distinction.
Incubator body for leather-sector start-ups in France Au Delà du Cuir (ADC) announced the award, describing it as recognition of Ms Colin Richard’s longstanding contribution to French entrepreneurship, industry and the leather and footwear sectors.
In addition to her role at Paraboot, she has represented the footwear industry through the French Footwear Federation and has also been involved with Medef, where she has supported initiatives aimed at strengthening the future of the sector.
ADC also noted her commitment to supporting younger generations through mentoring and knowledge-sharing activities.
The organisation said the award recognises both her professional achievements and her wider contribution to industry and society, adding that she serves as an inspiration to entrepreneurs and business leaders across France.
The Legion of Honour was established in 1802 and remains the highest French order of merit for military and civil achievements.
