Education network is now a “collaborative community”
Providers of education and training programmes for the textiles, clothing, leather, and footwear (TCLF) industries in Europe took part in a workshop on November 4 on a digital skills project called AEQUALIS4TCLF.
AEQUALIS4TCLF has funding under the Erasmus+ programme to assess the green skills that TCLF companies in Slovenia, Czechia, Croatia, the Netherlands, Finland, Lithuania and Serbia need.
After the workshop, organisations involved said the network of TCLF education providers in the European Union now encompasses 33 different education and training centres.
They said this most recent workshop confirmed that their network is “more than a platform”. They said it has now evolved into “a strong, collaborative community in which members find support, share knowledge, co-create opportunities and take joint action to strengthen skills and secure new funding innovation”.
