Groundswell festival celebrates regenerative agriculture
The ninth annual Groundswell regenerative agriculture festival, held at Lannock Manor Farm in Hertfordshire, UK, drew approximately 8,000 attendees. The event featured distinguished figures in the regenerative agriculture community, including John Kempf and Joel Williams, and offered a range of practical demonstrations and walks showcasing diverse farming practices.

Notable speakers included Alice Robinson, co-founder of British Pasture Leather, and farmer James Allen, who is developing a traditional oak bark tannery for cattle hides on his farm. They participated in a session focused on reviving hides and skins as valuable livestock products.

The event was further distinguished by a visit from HRH The Duchess of Edinburgh, who engaged with participants to gain insights into the evolving landscape of British agriculture.
