Minerva Foods celebrates geospatial sustainability

Minerva Foods has released its financial and operational results for Q1 of 2024.

In the announcement, the Director of Investor Relations, Danilo Cabrera, stated that the year began on a strong note, with the company delivering solid results that reinforced the consistency and discipline of their business strategy. The company maintained its position as market leaders in South America, with approximately 20% market share.

The gross revenue of the company increased by 13% to 7.7 billion reais ($1.5 billion) compared to Q1 2023. The gross revenue for the previous 12 months was reported as 29.5 billion reais ($5.8 billion), of which 58% represented exports.

Regarding sustainability, Mr. Cabrera mentioned that the company now has 100% geospatial monitoring in place for direct supplier farms in Argentina, adding to the complete monitoring data for suppliers in Brazil, Paraguay, and Colombia, some six years ahead of the stated monitoring goals.
