The Danish government will help farmers finance a feed additive to reduce methane emissions from cattle.

By stopping the fermentation process inside their stomachs, the additive could cut methane emissions from cows by 30%, said the report on Reuters.

The country has pledged to reduce emissions by 70% by 2030 compared with 1990 levels.
