SLTC 2024 conference programme announced

The 126th International Conference will be held in Northampton on April 27. The keynote speech, the Wolstenholme Memorial lecture, will be presented by Professor Matthew Collins from The McDonald Institute, University of Cambridge, with the topic Parchment – a millennium’s worth of dated untanned hides.
Other presentations include the development of an alternative tanning system by Steve Trantum and Matthew Dunning from Trumpler, Understanding the bisphenol content of leather by Dr Andrew Ballantyne from the Institute for Creative Leather Technologies, and Zeology tanning toolkit – assessing the progression of tanning by Callum Mackay from Royal Smit and Zoon.
