US sportswear brand Jordan has produced a collection of ‘luxury streetwear’ for China that includes leather and sheepskin and is billed as its “pinnacle product capsule to date”.

Each product in the Jordan Wings Collection is handmade in Italy and shows an approach to “meticulous craftsmanship, rich materials and commitment to excellence”, said the Nike-owned brand.

The clothing includes series of basketball-inspired silhouettes, such as a hoodie, varsity jacket, diamond shorts and a tracksuit. 

Materials include lambskin, cashmere blends and premium fleece. The Jordan Wings net sweater is modelled after a nylon basketball net and each is hand-stitched by Italian artisans over seven hours. 

The accessories include Wings-shaped calfskin bags and small leathergoods.

The Air Jordan 1 High '85 Wings and Air Jordan 1 Low '85 are made with full-grain Italian leather or hair-on-hide leather. The uppers are hand stitched and feature three-layer hand-painted leather edges.
