Tokyo Station Hotel commissions bespoke leather suitcases
The Tokyo Station Hotel will be offering a special accommodation package that includes original suitcases and mini trunks produced in collaboration with British luxury luggage brand Globe-Trotter.
The hotel, located in the Tokyo Station Marunouchi Building, is an important cultural property and is conveniently situated just a moment's walk from Tokyo Station.
The exclusive products, which feature a unique red and natural leather body colour inspired by the red bricks of the Tokyo Station building, are available for purchase only in Japan. The fabric design includes a hand-painted style pattern on the lining, making them a fashionable and rare item.
The hotel will offer only 40 suitcases and 20 mini trunks and is expected to sell out quickly. As a result, the accommodation package will be available for booking before the hotel's online sales, which begins on December 1 with domestic shipping only.
All guests who book the accommodation package will receive an original card case that resembles the suitcase and can be used as a jewellery case or an accessory pouch.
