Two family-run leathergoods manufacturers in Tuscany have become members of Gruppo Florence, a platform that puts luxury brands in touch with artisan finished product manufacturers. 

Effebi, which specialises in large leathergoods, and Alba, which produces handbags and small accessories, are the two new members of Gruppo Florence. They take Gruppo Florence’s member companies to 26 in total.

In May, investment group Permira acquired a controlling stake in Gruppo Florence.
