French saddle manufacturer Antarès has decided to add fish leather to the range of materials it offers in its customisation programme.

Fish leather producer Ictyos will supply flashes of leather it has produced from salmon and trout skin to add a personal touch to a limited range of 100 Antarès saddles.

Customers will be able to choose Ictyos’s Luna trout leather in pink or its Squama salmon leather in silver or sapphire blue to add an eye-catching touch to the saddles they buy.

Antarès will use the fish leather in the horse’s head logo it applies to the side of its saddles, combining it with the bovine leather it uses in the main part of the product.
