West-of-England luxury gloves brand Dents has renovated a coronation glove worn by King George VI for the coronation of King Charles III on May 6.

The white, kid leather glove, held in a private Royal collection, has undergone refurbishment and will be worn by Charles during his coronation ceremony, adding to his sustainability philosophy.

Dents, founded in 1777, has been responsible for making coronation gloves for previous monarchs, with this glove being originally made in 1937.

“We made gloves for his grandfather, his great-grandfather King George V, and also his great-great-grandfather, King Edward,” said Dents CEO, Deborah Moore.
