Tannery group ISA TanTec is moving its Auburn Laces and TrimTec divisions, makers of leather laces and trims, from China to its Vietnam facility in June.
They will be housed in Saigon TanTec, which is closer to its footwear customers.
This will help the group react more quickly to market demand, it said.
