New ICT president takes reins

The International Council of Tanners (ICT) has confirmed that Bekir Burak Uyguner took up the presidency of the organisation on March 13. Mr Uyguner will hold the position for the next two years.
Bekir Burak Uyguner is a board member of Turkish leather manufacuturer Uyguner, which specialises in finished leather for aircraft interiors, shoes, garments, leathergoods and furniture. He is also the current president of the Turkish Leather Industrialists’ Association.
After an ICT meeting in Dubai on March 13, he said he was honoured to become its president.
