Growing demand for electric vehicle sales among motorists worldwide has sparked a demand for classic cars to be restored and converted to electric.

Specialist retro-fitting companies, including Oxfordshire-based Everrati, are able to install a full-electric powertrain in some vintage cars.

In one recent project, Everrati completed the retro-electrification of a Porsche 964 ‘Signature’ wide-body, finished in Mexico Blue. The refit included using dark blue leather from Bridge of Weir in the interior.
