Medio Chiampo presents renewable water project at Lineapelle

To celebrate its fortieth anniversary serving the residents, tanners and other industrial players of the Chiampo Valley, water services provider Medio Chiampo has launched a project called Valore Acqua (The Value of Water).
It presented the project, which will commence on October 1, at Lineapelle in Milan.
A launch event for the project will take place at leather manufacturer Conceria Montebello.
As part of the project, Medio Chiampo plans to reduce its high energy consumption by processing tannery sludge discharge so as to create its own renewable energy. Energy costs currently represent between 20% and 25% of its annual budget.
