Big Brazilian presence in Bangkok
A total of 21 Brazilian leather manufacturers will take part in the special edition of APLF that will run in Bangkok from October 19-21.
The Brazilian Leather Project, an initiative set up by tanning industry body CICB and export promotions agency Apex Brasil, has identified the event as a good opportunity to display up-to-date leather collections from Brazilian tanners to buyers from the ten member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
ASEAN’s member countries are: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Manager of the Brazilian Leather Project, Letícia Luft, said: “We are looking forward to the APLF fair in Bangkok. We expect to meet new customers and strengthen our presence in this region of south-east Asia.”
