Tod’s latest to join Reliance Brands’ roster

Tod’s has had a presence in India since 2008, including stores in New Delhi and Mumbai, as well as selling via local luxury e-tailer Ajio Luxe.
The deal will see the Indian firm assume control of all Tod’s existing channels, with a view to boosting the company’s in-country digital footprint and otherwise optimising its market potential across all categories.
Managing director at Reliance Brands, Darshan Mehta, offered: “A name that conjures up images of luxe leathers and [elegant] materials, we are thrilled to partner with Tod’s to uphold its core values of exceptional quality and craftsmanship in the Indian market.”
The new operator’s portfolio also includes Bally, Manish Malhotra, Bottega Veneta, Salvatore Ferragamo, Raghavendra Rathore, Jimmy Choo and more.
