Scandicci to benefit from circular leather hub
03/05/2022
Scheduled to officially open its doors on June 15, the concept, called Zerolab, will operate not only as a waste collection and sorting centre, but also as a training facility and creative incubator for emerging leathergoods designers and linked brands.
From its base in Scandicci, itself a nucleus for Italian leathercraft and know-how, designers associated with Zerolab will also be able to take advantage of its ties to Zerow’s online platform, which can reportedly map local waste and match this supply to artisan-led demand for leftover leathers and offcuts, as well as promote finished products via its own network.
