Positive results for Tod’s

Footwear group Tod’s has reported full-year revenues of €884 million for 2021. This represents an increase of close to 40% compared to 2020, but is still below 2019 levels (by 3.5%).

Chief executive, Diego Della Valle, said the result for the year was positive and better than the group had expected at the start of last year. He pointed out that the figures for the fourth quarter on its own were 9.6% ahead of the same quarter in 2019. He added that online sales revenues, were three times higher in 2021 than in 2019.

The Tod’s brand brought in €428.3 million last year, 44% up on 2020, but 6.1% down on 2019. Roger Vivier, however, achieved revenues that were 43.5% up on 2020 and 16% up on 2019, with a 2021 figure of €230 million. The group described this as “excellent momentum”.
