Automotive groups Renault and Geely are to work together to make cars for the South Korean market.
They will develop a range of hybrid electric vehicles and conventional internal combustion engine cars and build the vehicles at an existing Renault factory in Busan. Production is likely to begin in 2024.
These models will initially be for the South Korean market, but future export sales are also a possibility, the partners said.
