'Progressive' Crest Leather passes first SLF audit

The Sustainable Leather Foundation (SLF) has conducted its first audit of Crest Leather Italia, based in Arzignano.

Crest Leather holds a Leather Working Group gold certificate so SLF audited areas of conformance around environmental and governance elements, and a full Social Responsibility Audit.  

SLF said: “We are delighted to see proven efficacy of our A.I.M. approach to be Accessible, Inclusive and Modular through a system that recognises existing certification and best practice, with the ability to augment this with additional auditing and certification where needed.

“Congratulations to Crest on the progressive work being done and we look forward to continuing the process with you.”
