Footwear brand Camper was one of a number of European companies to work with African artisans to prepare exhibits for an event called Bonne Arrivée, which closed on September 5.

In Camper’s case, it worked with artisans from Burkina Faso, incorporating materials that showed off their weaving, dyeing, and beading techniques into footwear and bags.

Bonne Arrivée was organised by the United Nations’ Ethical Fashion Initiative and hosted by the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris.
