Bridge of Weir Design Award up for grabs again

02/09/2021

Automotive leather manufacturer Bridge of Weir will, once again, be present at the Concours of Elegance exhibition of rare motor cars. The 2021 event takes place at Hampton Court Palace, near London, from September 3-5.

At its own enclosure at the event, Bridge of Weir, part of Scottish Leather Group, will have on display vehicles ranging from classic cars to the latest supercars, each with the company’s leather in the interior.

For the second time at the event, the leather manufacturer will present a special award to honour an individual car from across the Concours for outstanding interior and exterior design. Last year’s winner was the 1938 Bugatti Type 57 Atalante Coupe by Gangloff, the only car of its kind ever made.

In the build-up to the event, Bridge of Weir director, Jamie Davidson, said: “Our connections to the world’s leading automotive companies and the designers who create such beautiful cars are incredibly important.”
