Bentley Motors has marked 75 years of car production at its factory in Crewe in north-west England. The company moved its production there from Derby in 1946.

During this 75-year period, Bentley has produced almost 200,000 luxury cars at the plant.

 Production has increased considerably in the twenty-first century. Two decades ago, the factory was handcrafting around 85 vehicles per month. It now produces 85 cars per day.

Bentley has also confirmed that 84% of all the cars it has ever built in Crewe for the UK market are still on the road today.
