Giancarlo Lovato is committee president for IULTCS EuroCongress
The Italian Leather Chemists Association (AICC) has chosen Dr Giancarlo Lovato to be the president of the organising committee for the third IULTCS EuroCongress, which will take place in Vicenza in the autumn of 2022.
Delegates attending the congress will hear about technical and scientific innovations in the tanning sector and will be able to visit tanneries in the nearby Arzignano cluster. They will be invited to spend three days, September 18-20, 2022, in the area.
This will make it easy for them to travel to Milan later the same week to attend the Lineapelle exhibition.
Dr Lovato is currently the secretary of AICC. He is the manager of research and development for leather chemicals at Corichem, having previously worked at TFL, Chimes (now part of GSC Group) and Chemipal.
He has contributed to product patents and has written papers for industry journals on chemical innovations for the beamhouse, for the wet end and for finishing.
