ZDHC certification for Zschimmer & Schwarz leather auxiliaries
Leather chemicals group Zschimmer & Schwarz has announced that “almost the entire leather auxiliaries portfolio” that it produces at its main site in Lahnstein, Germany, has received level-one certification from the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) programme.
“We are very proud of this acknowledgement,” said the director of the group’s leather auxiliaries division, Dr Marc Hombeck, Global Director Leather Auxiliaries Division. “It allows us to offer an important service to our customers: they can be confident that our certified leather auxiliaries do not contain any of the chemicals that are listed as hazardous by the ZDHC.”
