Importance of China drives Stahl to up its online presence
Leather chemicals manufacturer Stahl has completed a series of projects to increase its online presence in China.
It has launched a dedicated Chinese website and taken steps to increase its presence on social media channels there, including WeChat, Baidu and Yuku.
Its managing director for China, Hagen Chen, said these improvements would help Stahl maintain good relationships with its customers in China. He said: “Besides global updates, we will also share information that is only relevant to the Chinese market, such as local product launches, events and videos from our Centre of Excellence in Suzhou.”
Director of corporate affairs at the group, John Fletcher, said Stahl was in the midst of “several important strategic initiatives” and, given the importance of the Chinese market, would help it connect directly with customers there about developments.
