Luxury brand Mansur Gavriel has created a handbag that features soft pleats made of soft lambskin leather.

Founders Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel said they worked closely with their factory in Italy to produce a “slouchy and cushy” feel. The body of the "Balloon Bag" is made with more than 30 leather strips sewn together one-by-one.

"We wanted a pleating technique that felt both full and fluid,” said the founders. “We worked through many iterations to get a clean look and soft voluminosity."
