Lambskin prominent in Burberry’s new collection
Burberry’s chief creative officer, Riccardo Tisci, has chosen lambskin for signature bags in the brand’s spring/summer 2021 pre-collection.
The lookbook is inspired by the outdoors and founder Thomas Burberry’s legacy of discovery.
The Soft Cube bag – an elongated take on its Cube – is made of quilted lambskin. The Olympia bag returns in black lambskin, and a new pouch style in vintage check and quilted lambskin.
The women’s shoes in the collection are sculptural leather pumps and sandals with wraparound ankle straps and chain-link details.
For men, there are logo-print leather sandals and the Arthur sneaker in gingham and Monogram print.
