Buckman and World Leather announce Leather Sustainability Seminar 2020
World Leather is delighted to partner with leather chemicals manufacturer Buckman to bring to the industry the Leather Sustainability Seminar 2020.
This inaugural online seminar, focusing on the sustainability achievements and ongoing aims of every aspect of leather manufacture, takes place on July 22. It will run from 13.00 hours until 16.30 hours, central European time (CET). This means the seminar will start at 13.00 in Paris, Milan and Munich, 12.00 midday in London and Lisbon, 19.00 in Hong Kong, 07.00 in New York and 06.00 in Memphis, where Buckman has its global headquarters.
It’s a free seminar and all are welcome, but we ask that people visit this link to learn more about the event and to register to listen and take part. You can register for the first half, the second half or both.
Speakers from across the leather value chain will address questions such as the leather pipeline in a post-covid world, global sustainability pressures, a vision for the future leather industry, traceability and innovation.
Speakers will include Buckman’s business unit leader for leather, Ashok Ramamurthy, and World Leather’s technical editor, Mat Abbott.
