Record figures for JBS in 2019
Packer and leather manufacturing group JBS has announced full-year revenues for 2019 of $51.7 billion, the largest in the company’s history. The group’s pre-tax earnings on this total was $5 billion, also a record.
Figures for the group’s leather-making division, JBS Couros, are reported as part of the numbers it publishes for JBS Brasil. Revenues for JBS Brasil were just over $8 billion, a 15.9% increase compared to the figure for 2018. This division’s earnings for 2019 were $400 million, an increase year on year of 39.1%.
