New York leather event begins tomorrow
Tomorrow is opening day of Lineapelle New York, the two-day (January 29-30) event pulling together European and international producers of leather, textiles and synthetics, components and hardware for shoes, handbags and leather goods, leatherwear, upholstery and car interiors.  

An area at the entrance of the fair provides visitors with a summary of the latest collections on show and will direct them to the most relevant suppliers on site. Later, keynote presentations will explore trends and highlights of the leather industry.  

Exhibitors are said to value sustainability in their daily practices and are certified according to international standards in the areas of quality, environment, health and safety, social accountability, product, origin and traceability.
