Paul Pearson to retire in April

Long-serving general secretary to the International Council of Tanners (ICT), Paul Pearson, is to retire soon after the 2020 ICT Council Meeting. That meeting will take place in Hong Kong on March 30. Mr Pearson began working as secretary to the ICT in January 1998.

ICT’s executive board has agreed that Leather UK should continue to provide it with secretariat services and, from April 11, the director of Leather UK, Dr Kerry Senior, will take up the role of ICT general secretary.

From the start of this year, Dr Senior will work alongside Paul Pearson on ICT secretariat business and Mr Pearson has said he will be available for consultation after his retirement if required.
