Vietnam will produce 2bn shoes annually by 2025 - Lefaso

Vietnam-made footwear has an average export price of more than $16 per pair compared with China’s $5, according to the country’s leather and footwear association, Lefaso.

Vietnam produced nearly 1.2 billion pairs of shoes last year, Lefaso director Le Xuan Duong told local press.

He said the country will make about 2 billion pairs of shoes per year by 2025 and 3 billion by 2030.
