Change at the top for Tyson

07/11/2019
Packer and tanning group Tyson Foods has named Dean Banks as its new company president, taking over the role from Noel White. Mr White remains as chief executive and Mr Banks will report to him. The change will come into effect on December 20.

For two years, Dean Banks has sat on the Tyson board as an independent director. He will remain on the board but, after he takes up his in-house role, it will no longer be as an independent director. He has a background in technology.

Commenting on the change, Noel White said: “As we increasingly integrate advanced technologies into our operations, we’re pleased to add a leader of Dean’s calibre to our team. From his service on the Tyson Foods board, Dean has developed a keen understanding of our business to go with his deep knowledge of the technologies and innovations that can help unlock opportunities now and in the future.”
