Record apprentice intake for Rolls-Royce Motors
10/09/2019
A record 26 new apprentices have joined the company. These new recruits will train for between two and four years, working alongside experienced craftspeople in the luxury automotive company’s leathershop, as well as in its assembly, woodshop, surface finish, parts quality and total vehicle quality management departments. They will also study for nationally-recognised vocational qualifications at Chichester College and other local further education establishments.
For the first time since its launch in 2006, some candidates will take this further and study for a degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Chichester to complement their on-the-job practical training.
