First-half revenues up by 15% for LVMH
Luxury group LVMH has posted revenues of €25.1 billion for the first half of 2019, a 15% increase on the figure from the same period last year.

Chief executive, Bernard Arnault, said the group had made “an excellent start to the year”. He said the figures illustrated “the exceptional desirability of our maisons, whose products transcend time”.

The group added that the momentum at flagship leathergoods brand Louis Vuitton was “remarkable”.

Across all its leathergoods and fashion brands, the group achieved revenues of €10.4 billion in the six-month period, an increase of 18% year on year.
