Turkish leather chemicals manufacturer aims for international expansion

Turkish leather chemicals manufacturer United Chemicals has reported progress in its attempts to expand in international markets.

A relative newcomer to the leather chemicals market, Izmir-based United Chemicals has an offering that includes tanning agents for producing wet white, polymeric retanning compounds and finishing compounds.

It now has customers in overseas markets including South Korea, China, Pakistan and a number of African countries and has said it now hopes to penetrate the South American market.
