Renault and Nissan open innovation lab in Tel Aviv

Renault and Nissan have opened a new joint innovation lab in Tel Aviv, saying it will enable the Alliance (the partnership that links these two automotive groups and Mitsubishi) to build relationships with Israeli start-ups on technology such as sensors for autonomous driving.

The Alliance is currently testing and working on more than ten prototyping projects with Israeli start-ups. It described Israel as a global innovation hub.

This new facility will complement innovation labs that the Alliance already has in Silicon Valley  and in Shanghai.
